Passion is Priceless

It is a blessing to have passion, independent of ability. To just be moved,
inspired to add to the world,
to saunter with purpose,
even when it seems aimless.

Isn't it our duty to cultivate our passions to the fullest?
Respond to our callings?
Not for success or recognition, but simply because we would be the ones missing out in the end?

  1. I don't know if it's our duty to respond to our callings, but I think it's folly if we don't!

  2. I think if we do respond to our callings, we make the world a better place - and that is always good!

  3. We all must cultivate our passions in one way or another. My dad's passion is history, and he collects and reads books and movies about the Civil War, and my mom loves scrapbooking. My husband loves flying (just got his pilot's license) and my sister in law loves animals, (she just bought a farm).

  4. Put simply, yes. I don't want to miss out...not a minute.

  5. So true. The only periods in my life when I was not supremely happy were when I was not following my passion.
The passions change, but as long as passions remain, I am content.

  6. great post! very insightful questions. im so glad you like the site and found something that inspired you, and thanks heaps for the shout-out!! :)

  7. I love this post. It spoke to me because I feel exactly the same.

Thanks for following my blog! I'm a follower here now too.

  8. I totally agree! I don't think we would be living our lives to the fullest if we don't--so my husband and I always have--bought a store once, started some businesses and packed our family up to move to florida just because he had a dream to do something here:) My writing is my greatest passion and I will persue it as far as I can! Thanks for stopping by!

  9. Absolutely! It's always about following the things that drive us and make the most of them be it writing or some other "thing". Explore it to it's fullest :) Our adventure in life will only be fully understood by our ownselves when it's all said and done.

  10. Gorgeous photo! And I think that yes, if we want to be happy, we need to follow our dreams.

  11. I totally agree with you. I am passionate about Aerobics, and I continue to do it whether i have enough students or not to work out with.
The same with Reiki,I have not practicing it from the day I learnt it, some 15 years ago.
Passion is the only element that can give the fulfillment that one seeks in life for oneself.
